How to Win in the Game of Life: Interview with Robert Scheinfeld & Michael Mackintosh

How to Win in the Game of Life: Interview with Robert Scheinfeld & Michael Mackintosh

We’ve all been playing a game we can never win. If you’re ready to discover what is REALLY going on behind the veil life’s appearances, then take the time to watch this fascinating, eye opening interview with Robert Scheinfeld.

He is the New York Times #1 Best Selling Author of Busting Loose from the Money Game, and many other books.

If you’ve been feeling you’re trying too hard to ‘get ahead’ and have a suspicion there is something wrong – you will LOVE this interview…

What inspired me to interview Robert?

A few years ago I was in the kitchen having a conversation with a dear friend. She was upset about this and that and the other thing. No matter how she tried to look at her life, or what I said to support her… the challenges and emotional reaction to various situations never seemed to go away…

It was like she was trapped in a never ending cycle of complaints and dissatisfaction…

And kept getting worse and worse.

All of a sudden a FLASH of deep insight struck me!

I was still in the kitchen. But everything looked totally different. I started to laugh.

And my life has never been the same since…

A few hours after that event, I did a video about what I had experienced explaining this bizarre phenomenon that seems to have nearly all of us running around in a game we can never win.

In this video I mentioned the work of Robert Scheinfeld and just recently, I saw that video again and thought to interview him to get his insights on this truly bizarre  profound, amnesia we seem to have developed as a human race… and how to wake up!

You can see that video below (it’s an old one – but I thought you’d enjoy it)

A Course in Spiritual Freedom from Disordered Eating

A Course in Spiritual Freedom from Disordered Eating

I t’s a dark shadow that plagues too many of us. You think you’re alone. You think you’re the only one struggling.

But, you’re not. The shocking truth is that most women you would ask, would tell you they have had an experience with food and body image hell. Some of us have experienced it more than others, but nevertheless, the walls of this dark place do not go unseen. So what is the way out?

It seems we live in a day in age when souls are checking into eating disorder clinics by the hundreds, and then, there’s a large portion of souls who are suffering silently alone, in the dark nights of the soul, promising, each binge, purge or starvation cycle, that they will not do it again… until the sheer force of this pattern comes back to haunt them, for another visit.

I’d like to start by emphasizing, you are not alone.

This is not just happening to you. It is happening to many, many of your sisters (and brothers). We live in a time of great separation from our bodies, and more importantly, from ourselves and the Divine.

The clear Truth of this came to me recently in these words, “There is only One Illness and One Illness alone, and that is our Separation from God.” This Illness comes in many forms, and one of them, is disordered eating.

The Guidance came recently in meditation to begin a Course on this, A Course in Spiritual Freedom from Disordered Eating.

It would be a channeled course coming from the Spiritual Core, to bring True & Permanent Healing to the Souls involved. This course will be based on years of experience, too, conquering this eating disorder demon and coming to my freedom. It will be in the format of a small group, 3 others souls alongside me, going deep into the the core of the illness, and emerging free, healed and whole. Yes, it sounds like a big aim, and it is, yet, with the Power of God, anything is possible. And I do believe and know deep within me that freedom is your true birthright.

I, myself, have experienced a miraculous healing from many years of Anorexia Nervosa. It isn’t that the patterns are dissolved forever, however, they do lay dormant in my soul, and I am FREE to act in accordance with Health and Wellbeing in my relationship to my body and food.
I am FREE to embrace and live in and out the true Beauty of my soul.
I am FREE to have the love, success and joy in my life that is truthful.
And most, significantly, and ever Precious, is that I am FREE to be One with the Divine. I don’t ever have to do anything on my own ever again, for I am in His/Her company, forevermore.

And that’s what I want for you too. I want you to be FREE.

Not just “kind of” free from food addiction and obsession, but REALLY FREE. Free from the torments of the dark side, free to be supported by the Divine, free to be healthy, wealthy and happy.

It’s TIME! It’s your time. It’s time we all remember and reclaim our Freedom. As you can tell… this is not a Course for someone who is not willing to turn their life over to a Higher Power.
It is not for someone who is not willing to develop a relationship, a real one, with the Divine.
It is not for someone who does not believe in a Higher Power.
It is not for someone who is not humble enough to recognize the captivity they’ve been kept under by the Force of Fear.

This is a Spiritual Course in Freedom from from Disordered Eating, to the Heaven of Freedom & Beauty. This is a call to your soul. Do you hear it? Is this for you?

I’m going to be guiding a group of 3 souls in this Course of Spiritual Freedom from Disordered Eating.

I think I can manage 2 groups, and it’s possible, 2 spots are already taken, leaving 4. This opportunity is a special one.

Following this Course, it is likely I will systemize the Course to be available for more souls, yet, it won’t and can’t be as intimate as this will be, merely because there is only 1 of me, and MANY souls who need this help.

I’d like for you to be very honest with yourself if this is for you. If it is, please email me at:

freedom@awakenedacademy.com

And tell me why you want to join this Course in Spiritual Freedom from Disordered Eating. Feel free to share anything with me you feel is relevant, and why you feel you need this now.

I’d like to start this Course with the beginning of the New Year. New Beginnings, New Possibilities, New LIGHT. The course will be at least 3 months, and not longer than 6 months. There will be a financial investment for this Course, and it’s as low as will be supportive for me in putting this together, and supporting your commitment. Once I hear from you, we will discuss more details and assess if this is a right fit for you now.

To YOUR Freedom.

Sending you so much love.

Oceans of Appreciation,

Arielle

Secrets and Mastery The #1 Secret Behind All Secrets

Secrets and Mastery The #1 Secret Behind All Secrets

Why are some people so successful, while most are not? Why do some have all the money, while the rest go without? Why do some people have great health and others get sick? What makes someone lucky all the time, while others seem to live under a dark cloud of disaster and chaos?

How’d you like to discover that one thing, the big secret which will sort out all your problems and make everything okay at last and forever?

If you’re like me you’re probably wondering: “What is it I’m doing wrong” “What is the thing I don’t know” “What is this one thing I need to know or learn to make my whole life right and get out of this mess” “There must be a secret I don’t know, what am I missing and who can tell me…?”

And then with this in mind, we go chasing after one golden dear after another, never really getting any wiser, always sinking deeper into the quicksand looking for the juicy secrets. Oh, the endless quest for that magical elixir of immortality!

“How can I get what I want!?”

I’m guessing you’re no stranger to that quest, although maybe you’ve never put it to yourself in those terms before. I’m guessing that your reading this because you thought you we’re missing something.

You also know quite well the feeling that comes with learning something new or buying a new book or arriving at the start of a workshop or ceremony with some amazing Shaman or Yogi or Wisdom Keeper, or before ingesting some sacred plant medicine for the first time – you know, the feeling that maybe this time this will be IT: the philosopher’s stone, the holy grail, the final answer, the ultimate SECRET will be mine at last, at last!

Mmmmmwwwwwwahahahahahahahahahahah…!

Essentially it’s the quest for a quick-fix solution to the seemingly impossible challenges and complexities involved in becoming a loving, mature, wise and joyful human being on planet earth!

Unfortunately, however, that particular quest is doomed, since there isn’t a quick-fix for the situation we find ourselves in.  There simply isn’t a magic pill that will solve all your problems and make your life easy just like that. However much you tell yourself that if you just keep looking for it for long enough one day you’ll find it, it doesn’t exist.

This may be a bit of a let down – sorry about that! – but it’s something that you need to know and accept, because if you take it seriously it will save you a lot of time and energy and fruitless searching. The sooner you can accept this unpleasant fact the sooner you’ll find a new resolve born inside yourself to embark upon the huge adventure of true growth and lasting transformation, the hero’s journey, that will eventually lead you through the labyrinth to where you need to be.

Of course there are wisdoms to be discovered along the way and integrated into your life. There are wondrous deep things you can and should learn about your life, and the learning of these things will help you along. But these are fairly few in number, so few that you could probably count them on both hands and still have fingers spare. In fact, you could say that the biggest secret of all secrets is simply this:

There Are Not Many Secrets

This might sound strange, but it’s true. It’s all much simpler than anyone usually admits.

There are some secrets to life. Despite being very few in number, there are some things that most people don’t know and are essential to be happy and successful in this game. And, in case you’re wondering, yes, I’ll be sharing most of them with you in this book, although, to be honest, you probably know most of them already – you just don’t realize it. But the main secrets is this: There are not many secrets and its much simpler than you thought.

By the time you’ve absorbed this unexpected secret you’ll probably come to realize that you’ve been running all over the world only to discover the pot of gold buried in your own back yard.  And at this point the question might arise: So who put us on this futile search? Why do we think there are all these things we don’t know and need to find out? Why is life so complex?

Seems to me that the answer to this question is bound up with another, much bigger, disturbing question:

Why do we, as individuals and as a culture at large, feel the need to continually chase after more, more, more, more, more? Where does this motivation for endless consumption arise?

Well, from a very young age we’re sold the habit of accumulation and the belief that if we can only acquire enough stuff then, finally we’ll be happy.

We’re trained to want more of everything: more money, more stuff, more experiences, more information, more relationships, more sex, more technology, more time, more secrets…

More, more, more, more. More! You see it almost everywhere, always more to be had, more to buy, more things you need and more reasons you’re not good enough until you get more stuff.

This is the great myth of our times, put forward by those whose fortunes are bound up with the economic model of continuous industrial growth. However, despite having more of everything, basic discontentment, superficiality and addiction have risen to epic proportions. ‘Mo money Mo problems’!

Most people in the western world have all their basic needs met and really don’t need tons of new things. I’m quite sure that right now you have all your basic human needs met too. In fact, if you’ve got a roof over your head, food in the fridge and clothes on your back you are richer than 75% of the world. And if you’ve got money in the bank, can read and have freedom to create companies and create your destiny, you’re in the top 2%.

But for many years now we’ve been told that there are literally thousands of things we don’t know and endlessly more things we need to have, and that if only we knew what they were and bought that extra stuff our lives would be better. This message reaches us through the media countless times as we grow up and become absorbed into the culture. We also live surrounded by literally millions of fellow brainwashed humans who have all internalized this message and who reinforce it daily to each other.

But it’s a cruel lie, told by a small group of clever people who aim to profit financially (and probably in other ways too) at the expense of the wellbeing of others and society as a whole.

As Vance Packard points out in his best-selling exposé of the advertising world, The Hidden Persuaders, “as much as 40 per cent of what is produced isn’t actually needed or wanted but if consumers decide not to buy a large share of what is produced a great economic depression is bound to follow.” His interviews with marketing and advertising executives exposes the industry that has been created to persuade consumers who have their basic needs met and are under no immediate pressure to buy more stuff to do exactly that. ‘What makes this country great is the creation of wants and desires, the creation of dissatisfaction with the old and outmoded,’ remarked one executive. A more accurate statement would have replaced the word ‘great’ with ‘profitable’.

Vance’s book was published in the1950’s, and since then the production of pointless stuff has only increased, advertisers have only got better at creating dissatisfaction, and we believe ever more deeply that we will always need more and more and more and more in order to be happy.

How do you think all this advertising is making you feel? How many of your desires are really your desires? How much of your pain is really your pain – not just a feeling that you’re not good enough because some clever advertisers have convinced you that you suck? Where do your decisions, big and small ones, really come from?

We’re now living in a sea of marketing and manipulation so thick and dense that its almost impossible to know what are your own ideas and needs vs the lethal injection of what I call ‘Social Opium’ that’s made us feel we’re never good enough and always need more.

It’s tragic.

Our basic nature is to be happy and in a state of awe and wonder at life, at the simple miracle of being. But our culture does absolutely nothing to nurture this beautiful natural state. Instead, it expends a huge amount of energy to cultivate and sustain the exact opposite – the feeling of dissatisfaction – and then tells us in so many ways that the remedy for this dissatisfaction is more, more more of everything!

Psychologist Oliver James describes it as like being hypnotised or obsessed: “Someone who has been hypnotised may have their eyes open, and speak and move about, but they are merely the vessel of the hypnotist’s volition, not their own. Likewise, a person with a compulsive obsession to touch the floor one hundred times in a strict ritual before leaving the house is a busy bee, but they are not expressing their will by these actions. In Having mode, people are as much in the grip of external forces as the hypnotised or the compulsively obsessed.”

But you are different?

You probably already know it anyway, that having more stuff won’t make you happy. But what I’m interested to point out is the depth of the brainwashing we receive that puts us into the dissatisfied state of always wanting more; and the connection between this deep conditioning and the relentless quest for ‘spiritual secrets’.

Often people think that by turning their back on the hypnotized consumer mindset and adopting a more conscious mode of living they automatically drop all their previous conditioning. In reality, the conditioning remains but simply gets a change of clothes. The dissatisfaction and associated thirst for accumulation is simply transferred from the material onto the spiritual path – from ‘things’ to ‘secrets’.

The thing is, you probably already know all that you need to know in order to become perfectly happy and live a wonderful life on this magical planet.

There really aren’t very many secrets. But the problem is most people are addicted to the chase for more.  We somehow believe that there must be a special teaching out there, some new or hidden knowledge that if we could only know it would be like a magic pill that sorts our life out instantly once and for all.

Obviously, this is exactly the way of thinking that belongs to the machine of consumerism! It’s in us all very deep, this habit of endless accumulation and the thrill of novelty.

It takes quite a lot of work to begin to unlearn this deep conditioning, to release it from your subconscious mind’s patternings. It’s not at all an easy job. But it is a hell of a lot easier than you jumping from one thing to the next for the rest of your life chasing secrets in the wind – an endless game of Chinese whispers that leaves you questioning your own sanity.

The real thing most of us are missing is not information, its DEEPLY understanding a few essential things and then practicing these on higher and higher levels until we’ve achieved mastery. This is the most ignored piece of common sense advice ever, while we waste our lives chasing after more rather than going deep and mastering the art of living.

If you want your life to change: Practice the basics!

Apply what you know. Master the essential things. Dig Deep Inside over and over and over and over. Become an expert.

I’ll say it again:

The real thing most of us are missing is not more information. Its DEEPLY understanding a few simple, essential things, and then consistently applying those things over a period of time until we’ve achieved mastery.

For example, I heard about a lovely lady from New Zealand whose message is simply that if we made a practice of always breathing deeply from our diaphrams we’d swiftly and completely dissolve many of our emotional blocks and feel really relaxed the whole time. She’s probably right. We all know that breathing deeply and with our diaphram is very good for us, but how many people consistently breathe in this way? Faced with something so simple and effective as deep breathing, how many of us have actually taken the time to go deep and master the art? Very few. Instead we’re more interested in watching the next cutting-edge documentary about the meeting of quantum theory and spiritual alchemy, or traveling half-way across the world to visit the Great Pyramids or some famous Guru! And then there’s that new book to read, and some very special superfoods to blend up…

Bless us all!

Deep and simple, deep and simple, deep and simple. If you want a mantra, that’s a good one. Go deep. Keep it Simple. This is perhaps the most powerful antidote to the madness of modernity.

So what I’m trying to say is that the real issue isn’t what you don’t have or don’t know. That’s just a myth you’ve been bombarded with all your life. In the realm of things the challenge is simply to enjoy and appreciate what you already have; and likewise in the realm of knowledge, where the challenge is APPLYING WHAT YOU KNOW UNTIL YOU MASTER IT.

If we want our lives to become remarkable and magical we need to transform at deep levels and truly evolve, and that happens only through persistent efforts to free ourselves from the falsehoods we’ve been sold and then taking consistent steps in the direction of our highest potential.

If you’re ready to find your path with a heart, embrace your dharma and awaken to the wonder of life that is always already there – you’re in the right place.

If you’re ready to systematically re-align every single thing you do and every moment of your day to your highest vision of what you’d love your life to be, I can’t think of a better place for you to be right now.

If you’re ready to stop digging shallow holes all over your lawn, making a mess and falling into your own pits, and instead to go down DEEP in one place to find gold, then this is the book for you.

But if you want to chase empty whispers through the forest of secrets for the rest of your life, always skimming the surface of your true potential, always on the edge of that big discovery which will magically sort everything out for you – sorry, you might as well stop reading now and wait for something more sparkly to come along…

This book is based on the idea that happiness is our basic, intrinsic nature. It’s not something one has to acquire. Nor it it very far away, at the end 23 lifetimes of esoteric training. It is within you now, and in the following pages and chapters I’m going to share with you some simple ways of unlearning your conditioning and finding your way into the happiness that is already yours.

Is Whole Foods A Health Food Store? Or Is It An Organic Junk Food Shop?

Is Whole Foods A Health Food Store? Or Is It An Organic Junk Food Shop?

Whole foods sounds like a health food company. It even looks like a health food company. That nice green logo, the promise of health and well-being presented masterfully through their signage and ambiance. But is Whole Foods really a health food store? Or is it a wolf in sheep’s clothing?

Let’s pull back the veil and discover what’s really happening behind the multi-billion dollar health industry.

Why do health food stores exist at all?

One reason is because health food stores are meant to provide ‘healthy foods’ that make us healthier.

Sounds pretty obvious, doesn’t it? But is that really what most health food stores actually do?

When I go into companies, I am always interested in what is really going on here?

Thousands of years ago in China, Huang Po said: Never allow yourself to mistake outward appearances for reality.

I don’t assume that appearances are real.

To see beyond the veil we must take a few steps back and observe with curiosity what is really happening. What are people buying? What is being said vs what is being done? How do we feel? What is the long-term impact of this situation? Who are the people attracted to it and why?

After some interesting observations, here’s what I think is really going on inside of Whole Foods (and many other health food stores).

Health food stores are not actually health food stores

Most people would agree that the healthiest foods are organic vegetables and other minimally processed natural products that actually deliver health-giving nutrients to our bodies.

Eating ‘healthy’ is fairly simple and can be summed up in these 4 steps:

1. Get your hands on these nutrient dense, organic, natural, easy to digest and assimilate vegetables
2. Prepare your meals with love and eat with gratitude
3. Avoid highly processed food with complex combinations that are hard to digest
4. Avoid food made without love or food eaten too quickly or without gratitude

And YES, there are many of details here that we could spend all day discussing, but this is the essence of healthy eating.

Now let’s look at what’s actually going on in Whole Foods and other health food stores.

How much of the store is dedicated to organically grown raw vegetables? Not very much, and many of the vegetables are pesticide rich.

So what is the rest of the shore filled with?

Hmm

1. Highly processed organic junk food
2. Wine and beer (some of it organic – so it must be good for you 😉
3. Meat (even if this is made with love it certainly wasn’t killed with love)
4. Health & Cosmetic Products (often toxic and connected to promoting disease)
5. Pills & Supplements (Making up for the lack of nutrition in the rest of the food)

So herein lies our first and foremost problem: Most health food stores do not in fact offer health foods. Go figure.

So what would be a better name?

I think it would be more accurate to call them Organic Junk Food, Liquor and Butcher Stops with a small selection of fresh fruits and veggies.

Go and walk around your closest health food store and see for yourself what is going on.

Most people are buying the IDEA of health, not real health

The dream Ideal is far more powerful than the actual reality.

Considering the fact that health food stores are not in fact distributers of healthy food, why are so many people going to them? Why is it a multibillion dollar business?

To answer these questions we need to look into the psychology of the people who are spending billions of dollars at the stores. Why are they there? Why do you go? Why do I go?

We are consistent with our inner self image

I believe that most people going to health food stores, like Whole Foods are going there to feel better about themselves by buying into the facade of health instead of actual health.

Here’s how this bizarre self-deception works: We’re all told by the media, doctors and others that we need to eat better and look after our heath. So sooner or later we decide, I should be healthier, I should eat better. So what do we do to look after ourselves? Each one of us has our own story.

Some people start to eat organic, others start to eat more fruits and veggies, some go all raw, some start the Atkins diet or any number of other diets.  And once we start eating differently we develop a self image about being a healthy person. A self image is an identity we hold about ourselves inside our mind. And whatever our self image is, we will act in accordance with it. For example, if you think of yourself as a vegan, you won’t eat any animal products. If you think of yourself as a wine connoisseur, you’ll find yourself easily buying wine.

Once we have these self images in our minds, we are literally compelled to act accordingly. That’s why once you think of yourself as someone who eats healthy and doesn’t eat GMOs or high fructose corn syrup, you’ll find it hard to even enter into a ‘normal’ supermarket or drink a coke or eat a Hershey’s candy bar.. You can’t eat it because your self image won’t let you.

So where are you going to buy foods? A healthy person goes to a ‘health food store’.

So off we go to the health food store to get our health food. We wander through the isles filled with ‘health foods’ and fill our carts with organic junk food, alcohol, meat, pre-made foods, and various supplements to give us the nutrients we should be getting from our organic veggies (that we missed).

Then we go to the register and unpack our healthy goodies and pay a whole pay check for the privilege.

And off we go packing our organic junk into the car smiling away at how healthy we are and why it’s worth getting organic. We feel warm and fuzzy about the idea that we’re actually looking after our health when in fact, we’ve just bought a bunch of junk food.

We’ve been duped. We’re insane. But what can we do? Once we internalize the idea that organic junk is good for us, why would we bother eating truly healthy foods? As a culture, we’re investing literally billions into this industry, but are we healthier?

I don’t blame Whole Foods. They are genius marketers and business people. They know this is what’s happening. They are giving us what we want and making a fortune from it. I take my hat off to them for their entrepreneurial spirit and ability to make things happen. But behind the friendly green logo lies a darker side. And that darker side is within us.

Next time it may be different

The next time you go shopping have another look at what your motives are. Have a look at what’s really going on there and what’s really being sold. Look beyond the friendly signage and blaring music and most of all, have a look at your own body, your own mind and your own health and ask yourself – what do I really need to eat to feel vital, inspired and full of life?

Answer this question, then buy those things. And you’ll have broken the multi-billion dollar trance.

Have fun.

Enjoy your shopping!

Whose life are you living?

Whose life are you living?

“He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it” ~ Douglas Adams

Living our Dharma, living in magic, is based on knowing who we really are and what we are really here to do and then aligning the whole of our lives with the deepest, fundamental truths about ourselves. If you’re not feeling fully satisfied, deeply contented and thrilled to get up in the morning, the chances are you’ve been living the life of someone else. Whose life are you living?

You were born to live a live of wonder and beauty

You were born to share your unique inner gifts with the world. Health, wealth and happiness are your birthright, the natural expression of your spiritual nature manifesting fully on Earth. Sometimes, however, it can seem like the whole world is set up to suppress our inner light and joy, to force us into cramped and stifling roles that completely mask our deeper selves. And even worse, we’re then sold the lie that we are those roles and nothing else! It like we’ve been robbed, drugged and brainwashed to the point that we’re not entirely sure what happened, but we have an eerie feeling something is quite amiss… and we’re not happy about it.

Multifaceted layers of influence and manipulation

With all the multifaceted layers of influence and manipulation, we have to a frightening degree been led to betray our true nature at every level of our lives – and for the most part we don’t even realize it.

As a direct result of this mass betrayal, our world is full of pain, poverty and depression, which come as teachers and guides to point out that something is wrong and help show the way back to the magic that always exists.

When all else fails, when we’ve become so blinded by our own ignorance and are unable to unlearn and unmask the social programing that has bound us, sadly, when all else has failed all that is left to wake us up and break the trance is pain and discomfort. The pain starts with a feeling, then as we ignore it, it turns into things going wrong in our lives, then finally tragedy, serious illness, chronic depression or even severe accidents or jail if nothing else can get through to us. Whatever it takes, we will all finally awaken to the truth of who we are and what our lives are really all about.

Turn it all around

If you’re reading this it’s probably because you feel that something is wrong and would like to put it right. You’ve been nudged by the universe and your own true self into finding your way back into a life you love and that is deeply aligned. You know it’s time to reclaim your power, recognize your deep beauty, and begin joyfully living your live in magic. Are you truly ready?

Your enemies are your friends – & – why they love you so so much

Your enemies are your friends – & – why they love you so so much

Your enemies are your friends.

They actually love you.

These people in your life, distant and close, who take up space in your head, stress you out, give you reasons to worry, to be upset, to be angry, to feel vulnerable – they actually love you.

This might be the craziest most counter-intuitive thing you’ve ever heard. It also may be something you don’t want to believe, but, perhaps for a moment we can expand out into the expanse of the universe. We can recognize a family of souls, sparkling like diamonds in the sky, and we can see from this vantage point that the only real energy existing and holding the universe together is: Love.

L

O

V

E

Love. Sure, there are other energies and ‘feelings’ we experience. It’s all part of the game. Part of the movie. If we didn’t have a little drama, we’d be bored.

But it’s not real, really. Something that is real must be eternal. It must be alive and forever. Hate isn’t forever. Jealously isn’t forever. Sadness isn’t forever. Anger isn’t forever. Pain isn’t forever. It is a passing thing. It’s not a lasting thing.

Love on the other hand is forever. The power that pours forth from the heart is real. Your being in touch with it might come and go, but it is always there, underneath the fabric of your experience, the Love is there. It’s what’s holding the whole thing together. And in the time is takes to blink your eyes, you can change your attention to the Love in your heart. You can realize that the enemies in your life are souls playing their parts. They’re supposed to cause problems for you, that’s the point. They’re playing their part, and it can’t be any different. And when you take a magnifying glass to each situation, you’ll realize you are growing and benefiting from each challenging person/situation in your life. That’s why it’s there. However, behind that mini-drama, your ‘enemies’ are beings of love. They love you.

“Everyone loves me.”

Try that one on today.

Go ahead, share this with the people you love, and also the ones you can’t stand.

It’ll make the world a better place.

What is your own path?

What is your own path?

Are you living your own path?

Or are you influenced by other people and outside forces? The difference between your own, personal, originally unique thoughts and your programmed beliefs and ideas is not as obvious as you may think. In fact so much programming has entered you sublimely from your parents, their parents and your culture that it’s truly shocking. Most of our thoughts are not our own.

Social Programming

If you don’t know how much social programming you have inside you, you could be going full speed ahead down the wrong path to your own destruction and not even realize it. To truly awaken our dharma we need to lift the veil of illusion and return to innocence. We need to re-experience a state called zero point, where we are free from all programming and can see clearly who we are and who we are not.

Zero Point

We reach this state when we’re willing to die alive, let go of everything we know and come back to innocence and wonder. Imagine what it was like before you were born. How did it feel to be pure light? How would you see the world if this was your first day and you knew nothing?

Come back home to yourself.

And then decide what the next step will be. That is your path with a heart.

Copy Cats Copying Other Copy Cats

Copy Cats Copying Other Copy Cats

It’s everywhere. Rip-off products, rip off songs, websites that all look alike, selling rip offs of other rip offs.  The world is full of the same old, same old crap, hurting our eyes, insulting our taste buds and polluting our minds with thoughtless copies of copies of copies. Everyone looking at everyone else to figure out what to do and ignoring the limitless, pulsating power thats here right now. It’s here right now inside you. But look around and witness the sea of sameness. Same old boring rip-offs. Why?

Safety in numbers

It seems safer to look around and see if anyone else is in the water first before jumping in. It seems better to check the market and not be to brash or bold and to do something different. Being an innovator is scary. You could fail. You could be laughed at. People may ignore you. Or, worse of all, you could be expelled from the tribe and burned alive. That’s what the ego thinks, so it plays it safe and copies and settles and does the least possible. Let’s just be small and be politically correct and be nice and watch TV and talk about other people’s lives…

Enough is enough

Please, please, please do us all a favor and live your own life and make you own art. Please, please, please be awesome and do your own thing and bring something new to the world. We don’t need a copy of a copy of a copy. We’re all bored and sick enough already. You are too. Do you want another boring, lifeless attempt at a copy?

What do you personally love?

The music that’s truly heart-felt and magical – or yet another cheesy pop song? Why do you love the music, people, companies, restaurants, books you love? Why them and not all the other BS? You love it because these people stopped looking around and listened to the genius within.

The Genius Within

Look within and you’ll find a genius winking at you. Go spend a day with your genius. Take her out for tea or for a walk and listen to what she’s got to say. Ask her what ideas she has. Listen closely. She is bursting with ideas. You are packed with life. You are limitless. It’s all there. But you just need to pull in the reigns, stop looking outside, stop comparing yourself to others and listen to your genius. She is talking right now.

What’s your genius saying?

Go do something epic. And wake others up. You’re awesome.

How Talking in 3rd Person is Hilarious and Why it Can Extend Your Lifespan

How Talking in 3rd Person is Hilarious and Why it Can Extend Your Lifespan

The other day I was having a hilarious text stream with our mastermind brothers. I had a horrendous headache, and for whatever reason, it felt funnier and lighter to talk about it in the third person. “Arielle’s head is not on straight right now with a bad headache, let’s meet next week”. The conversation continued in 3rd person, and was quite funny. Why? The truth is, when we talk in 3rd person, we’re closer to the truth.

We are far too serious.

The truth is we are not these people. I’m not Arielle, Michael’s not Michael, you’re not __ (name). We’re souls. Spiritual beings who are playing a part. When we take a step back from thinking, “I did this, this is my thing, I, me, mine” etc., we remember the feeling of lightness of being the ever peaceful witness. When we think we are the doer, the person, life becomes a painful, heavy journey. When we talk in the third person and realize we are the witness, we extend the quality, joy and quite likely, length of our lives. When we are light, we are free, we are healthy, we are in our joy.

Talk in the third person more often. You’ll have a good laugh, and it will take the ‘edge’ off of any annoying situation such as a headache. Because you’re not the person anyway.

Big love.

Be Awesome & Share This. Oh Yeah!

But wait! There’s more 🙂

What Comes From the Heart Goes to the Heart

What Comes From the Heart Goes to the Heart

What comes from the heart goes to the heart. It’s a simple statement with big power. On the journey of life we can forget and overlook the simple power of the heart. When we do something from the heart, give a stranger a bright smile, help a friend move into a new home, create a product or service that is filled with the love and care that you really want them to feel better and have a great life.

We need to forget the busyness of the mind. In fact, we can all do with thinking less. We don’t need to think so much. We do need to love so much. We need to love so much that it’s uncomfortable at times, to feel so much joy in the heart that our face might begin to hurt from the smile that emerges on our faces when the light of the heart is turned on. That’s how much we need to love.

What comes from the heart goes to the heart.
