The Ocean

The Ocean

a poem and contemplation

The Ocean saved me in a way,

that I needed to be saved.

She brought me into the consciousness of eternity

of forever

As the waves wash against the shore, every moment of the past

disappears

And the moment of now is what is real

As I dive deep into the Ocean in my mind

There is Silence,

…Silence…

The waves on the surface of life, the noise and situations, continue

Yet, deep down below the surface, is Silence.

That is, in the Silence of your inner being,

there is Peace.

Dive down below the waves, the thoughts, the movement

And come into the Stillness, beneath it all.

Here, there is Peace.

Here,

the Self rests

Here,

I am one with God

in perfect yoga

Union

With the Beloved

the Ocean of Love.
