We believe it is time the awakened guides thrive
Awakened Academy exists to give spiritually awake people everything they need to transform their own lives, become of service to others, and do the work they were born for — without having to choose between their calling and their life.
We chose this work because we know what it feels like to spend your days doing something that genuinely helps people. The loving connection that returns when you watch someone change their life because of what you offered. We also know what it is like to be a deeply spiritual person without money, or living two separate lives — the life you love and the one you have to do just to pay the bills.
Our aim is to help spiritual people finally do their spiritual work full time and make a great living doing it, so they can help raise the consciousness of the planet and experience their own highest state of being.
We are committed to this work because we remember how hard the early days were, when we just had a dream and a calling but no idea how to make it actually happen.
We want to make this path as easy as humanly possible so the next generation of awakened coaches, teachers, and guides can achieve success — without all the unnecessary stress and confusion.

Three Layers of Transformation at Awakened Academy
Our programs are designed to transform your life on three levels.
Layer One
You become who you are meant to be
You discover your dharma. You release what has weighed you down. You upgrade your relationship with money, worth, and your own gifts. You build a daily practice that grounds you for life. This is the foundation of the work you do for others, because we believe the more you grow, the deeper you can help others. Personal transformation comes before service.
Many students remain at this layer for years and tell us this work alone has been worth more than the cost of the program — even if they never go on to coach professionally. The personal transformation here is yours forever: for you, your family, and everyone in your life. We encourage our students to keep doing this deep inner work and developing themselves so they are always growing.
Layer Two
You become a light for the people in your life
Once you learn how to help yourself and others, you can begin serving people. You can start helping your family, friends and community — even before you get paid clients — because as the saying goes, "charity begins at home."
To be of service right away, you can offer free coaching, lead meditations, host circles, write, teach, share. None of this requires paid clients or marketing. It only requires you, showing up with what you have learned. This practice and commitment to serve is what opens the doors to paid clients and a full practice. We believe it's better to just start now, than to wait until you are "perfect" and have everything set up. Practice makes perfect. Start now.
Layer Three
You build a practice that pays you to be yourself and share your gifts
Once you feel ready, you can choose to become a paid coach. When you are ready, we walk this path with you, step by step — helping you figure out your dharma, the ideal way you can share your gifts, and get paid.
This process does require time, commitment and effort, and we encourage you to enjoy every moment and celebrate every success. The journey is the destination.

Real teaching, not theory
Everything we teach has been tested in our own lives and the lives of our students.
Everything you need to succeed
We have continued to add and refine our programs since 2011 to make sure you have everything you need to succeed.
Live presence, every two weeks, without fail
We have run live group coaching calls every fortnight for 15 years. Students bring their questions. We answer them with care. This commitment continues for as long as Awakened Academy exists. You may not always need personal help, but you can rest assured that you will have help and support when you need it.
A response when you reach out
When students email with questions, struggles, or breakthroughs, they receive a real response with guidance, support, or direction. We also support you by holding you accountable and encouraging you to do the things that will help you move forward.
Continuous evolution
When we see students struggling with something, we add the support to address it. Most of what is in the program today was added because students asked for it. If you need something — reach out. We will guide you to the support or resources you need, or create or recommend additional resources if needed.
Care over commerce
We are not running a course just for money. We are running a school we have devoted our lives to. That commitment shapes every decision we make. Michael has been teaching this work since 2011, with a personal spiritual practice going back over three decades.
Long-term presence
We stay with our students. Many of our graduates remain in active relationship with us years after their certification, by design. We're here to support and encourage you both personally and professionally for years to come.
What We Ask of You
For this work to transform your life, the following is asked of you.
Personal responsibility
Take ownership of your results. The teachings, tools, community, and support are extensive — but they cannot substitute for your own action.
Willingness to do the inner work
This program is built on the principle that you transform yourself before you coach others. That requires honesty, presence, and the willingness to face whatever arises.
Consistent commitment
A few hours a week, sustained over time. Showing up imperfectly is welcome. Disappearing is not.
A service-oriented heart
Care about the people you serve more than the income. The income follows the service, not the other way around.
Action over perfection
Take imperfect action. Course correct. Keep moving even when fear or doubt arise. The walking is what transforms you.
These are not requirements we impose. They are simply the conditions under which transformation occurs in any meaningful work.
The Honest Truth About Coaching, Money, and Results
We want you to walk this path with eyes wide open. Here is what actually happens in students' lives.
Among the students who genuinely engage with the program, the range of outcomes is wide:
- Some sign their first paying client within weeks. Others take months or longer.
- Some build beautiful part-time practices serving a handful of clients they love. Some build strong six-figure annual practices. A few of our top graduates run multi-six-figure businesses.
- Some take what they learn inward and never coach professionally, but profoundly transform their own lives and the lives of those around them. We see this as a fully valid and meaningful outcome.
We also want to be honest about another group: students who join and don't engage at all. They sign up but don't show up. They get busy with other things. They don't watch the trainings, attend the live calls, or apply what they learn. Despite every form of support, opportunity, and encouragement we provide, we cannot make anyone do the work. Some students simply don't take action. Everyone is different. That is the honest truth of it.
The students whose lives transform share certain qualities. They take personal responsibility for their results. They face their inner blocks rather than running from them. They serve people generously, often beginning with friends, family, and free clients. They course-correct when something is not working. They do not wait for results to find them.
The students whose lives do not transform tend to wait for the program to do the work for them, stay in patterns they have not yet faced, look for shortcuts that do not exist, care more about what they will receive than what they will give, or simply never engage at all.
We cannot guarantee any individual outcome. No honest school can. What we can offer is a complete vehicle for transformation, the most comprehensive support we know how to provide, and our continued presence for as long as you walk this path with us.
